12th June Russia Day - It is one of the youngest holidays in Russia, because it is celebrated since 1992.The day is for the celebration of Russia's independence after Soviet Union dissolution in 1991.
The day also marks the creation of President post in Russian Federation, national flag and national anthem.
It was first named as "Russian Independence Day", but renamed as "Russia Day" in 2002. Russia Day is celebrated on 12th June every year since 1992.
