Armavir is city in Krasnodar Krai of Russia, The city of Armavir is located on the left bank of the Kuban River. The population of this city is 188,832 (2010 data). It is the 96th largest city of Russia by population.
This city is nearly 850 miles distant from Moscow city.
History of City
It was founded in 1839. It became a town in 1914. Cherkesogai Armenians discovered the city. The settlements of Cherkesogai Armenians were abandoned based on increased Islamic radicalism.
Now the city is more developed and has been mainly known for its food processing industries.
Climate of Armavir
The city has warm and cold climates. The summers are between March and October during which the peak temperature is 41◦C. The winter is between January and March and from November to December in which the lowest temperature is -33◦C.
